I am sold out of all finches until approximately April of 2022. If you emailed me recently regarding finches and I didn’t respond, I apologize. I was personally dealing with Covid as well as in my extended family. My breeding season starts in November and I should be able to offer youngsters around April of 2022. 


I have had a very busy year with turacos and fruit doves and should have a number of youngsters available by mid-November. Contact me for details!

​ I am a small hobbyist breeder and only occasionally have birds available.  I only sell what I raise myself and I make every effort to close band my offspring.  As Spring arrives here in the Pacific Northwest, many of my finches are busy building nests and rearing young.  Typically, I do not keep all of the young produced for myself and I will most likely have some youngsters available later in the summer.  Drop me an email and I can give you a 'best guess' as to what I may have available.  However, since the birds are really in control here, I may not be able to offer exactly what you are looking for.

SHIPPING OF FINCHES and Softbills

All finches are shipped from Portland International Airport (PDX) in Portland Oregon.  United or Delta are the two carriers that I mainly use.  Buyers pay, in advance, for the birds, airline shipping costs, shipping crates as well as any PayPal fees.  Postal money orders and cashier's checks are also acceptable forms of payment.

With the purchase of any finches and softbills, I can guarantee live arrival, but the rest is up to you!  Once the birds are in your hands, I have no control over them.

Unfortunately, I am not able to offer USPS delivery.  Although some breeders may use this option, it is illegal.  The USPS ships poultry and game birds, but, per US government regulations, other birds are not allowed. Despite me being very clear about NOT shipping USPS, many inquiries still ask about this.  I will not ship USPS! My birds deserve better than being stuck in a box for 2+ days.

A Closed Aviary:
I have a smoke free environment, and we are a ‘closed’ aviary, in that the breeding area is not open to the public in order to control disease and the stress of having strangers walking into and around the birds. Finches are known to abandon the nest box and babies because of strangers being too close. A closed aviary also indicates that we have established all of the breeders and raise new breeders from our own stock. I do not often bring birds from outside of our aviary into or around our bird room. A closed aviary prevents outside illness and disease.
